McMEANS, Marjorie (Mar) Mar in her 99th year passed away peacefully at Carlingview Manor, Ottawa, on Saturday, February 10th, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband Lendrum (Slim) McMeans on September 14th, 1983 and is survived by her daughter Kit (Cliff Watson), her son Terry (Anna Lee), her grandchildren John (Lisa), Suzie (John Settino) and her great-grandchildren Joey and Maggie McMeans and Gillian Settino. The family wishes to thank the staff on the 6th floor of Carlingview Manor, especially Rose, for their kind care and attention over the last few months. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind would be greatly appreciated.
