JONES, Gertrude Doreen 1925 - 2006 Doreen Jones, beloved wife of Sidney Jones of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Besides her loving husband Sid, Doreen is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Len) Denis of Golden, B.C., and her son Cecil (Debby) Jones of Calgary; grandchildren, Alyssa Denis, Bradley (Brenda) Jones, Lonnie (Sean) Murphy, Merrie-Lou (Chris) Dyck, Donna-Marie (Steve) Cann, Sarah Jones and Jennifer Jones; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Pearl Kerr and Rose Partridge, and brother Frank Watson. She was predeceased by her sister Ruby McKinnon; brothers, Lewis Watson and Edwin Watson; and her daughter-in-law Janis Jones. Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4 Street N.W. (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial tributes may be made directly to Bethany Care Centre, 916 - 18A Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1C6.
