VISSER, John Stuart — At the CSSRT of Thetford Mines, on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the age of 87, beloved husband of Aline Rahal and wonderful father to Johanna. He is survived by his brother James (Mary Elder) and sister-in-law Florence Visser. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy de Sevigne (late Oscar) and brother Dr. Andrew Visser. He was a teacher, gardener, musician and gourmet cook par excellence. Nobody will ever forget conversations with Jack and the warm welcome always received at 161 Alfred Street. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 20th, at 3 p.m. at the Church of St. John the Divine on Alfred Street with the Reverend Joanne Brousseau officiating. The family will receive condolences at the church beginning at 2 p.m. NO FLOWERS PLEASE! Jack will be remembered for the many lives he touched and his enduring passion for “all creatures great and small.”
