VIEL, Joseph Omer — (Retired RCAF, Université Laval) died peacefully at the Centre d’hébergement St. Augustin, on February 17, 2007, aged 89 years. Long time resident of Sainte Foy. Missed by his wife Marcelle of Boischatel; daughters Sylvie (Michael Hyne) of Kanata, Ontario, and Hélène of Quebec; grandsons Christopher (Janine Legaré), Matthew, Mark, and Andrew Hyne, Alexander and Shawn Labrecque; great-granddaughter Emma Hyne. At his request, funeral services private.
