CAON, Ido. 1923-2007. With his family by his side, passed away on March 10 at the age of eighty-three years at Notre-Dame de la Merci Hospital. Beloved husband for fifty-five years of Pierina. Cherished father of Walter (Diana Tomicic) and Susan (Manlio Del Negro). Loving grandfather of Alessandro and Stefania Del Negro and Andrew and David Caon. He also leaves sisters and brothers in Italy and Australia as well as many relatives and friends. He will be remembered always for his sense of humor and his "joie de vivre". Visitation will be held at Complexe Magnus Poirier, 10, 300 Pie IX, on Monday, March 12 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame de la Defense Church, corner Dante and Alma, on Tuesday, March 13 at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the "Fondation Notre-Dame de la Merci".
