HEWITT, James Magella "Jim" Peacefully with his family by his side on Easter Monday, April 9th, 2007 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ontario. Jim Hewitt, age 86, lifelong husband of Clare (Rowan) Hewitt. Inspiring father of Shaleen Jordan (Ray), Ann Hewitt (Richard Hauge), Erin Ross (Mary Ellen), Myra Hewitt and Creeshla Hewitt (John Gallaro). Loving grandfather of Kieran and Kyle Jordan, Rowan, Shanti and Vale Abbott and Samuel, Theo and Lyla Gallaro. Brother of Drusilla Davis, Monica Warren and predeceased by Earl and Margaret. Proud descendent of Irish immigrants who came to Quebec City to find a better life. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (east of Bank), Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St. Peter's Church, 1640 Heatherington Road, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. In Memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
