Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, Clyde lived most of his life in New Brunswick, except for a period of six years in Ottawa that began in 1974. In 2003, Clyde and his wife Katherine, ("K" Atkinson) moved back to Ottawa to be near daughters Judy Aranoff (Mike) and Pam (Carryl Potter) and his son Bob Wilkinson (Lynne) of Niagara Falls. Proud grandfather to Jeremy and Lindsay Aranoff, and Lisa (Wilkinson) Yaromich (Peter) and David Wilkinson (Kerri). Clyde was predeceased by his twin, Ralph and is survived by his sister Esther Crandall. Clyde became known as "CJ" during WWII in the RCAF, inspiring a life-long passion for aircraft and weather patterns. He worked for many years as an auditor in the Department of National Defense, first in Fredericton, NB and later in Ottawa where he finished his civil service career at Canada Post. In 1966, he fulfilled one of his life's ambitions when he became a Chartered Public Accountant. Clyde was always known for his gentle spirit, methodical attention to detail, love of a good story, great sense of humour and a ready smile.
