GOODMAN, Jules (Sonny) 1917-2007 — Peacefully in Quebec City on Friday May 4, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Bridget (Bunny) Goodman. Adored father of Jody (Stephen Kaplan) and Debbie (Ian Finlayson) and much loved Poppi to his granddaughter Julia. He leaves to mourn his dear friend Joyce Coutts and sons of his heart André and Jon. He will be greatly missed by his brother and sister-in-law Harold and Ruth Goodman, his nieces and nephews and many precious friends. Predeceased by his sisters Rita, Clare and Edith. Sonny’s extraordinary strength, courage and marvelous humour were an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of spending time with him. He loved Quebec City and was extremely proud of the life he had made there. Funeral Services were held in Montreal. A special thank you to the staff at the Hôpital Laval for their care, compassion and genuine affection.
