BECHARD, Lionel O. - Peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Thursday, April 26, 2007, Lionel O. Bechard, age 84, of Chatham, beloved husband of Marie Antoinette (Peltier) Bechard. Born in Raleigh Township in 1922, son of the late Alda Moore and Edgar Bechard, Lionel worked at Navistar before he retired and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Loving father of Michael (Pat) of Chatham, Daniel (Janice) of Chatham, Linda Shepherd of Chatham, Rick (Sharon) of Chatham, Janet Bechard of Chatham, James of Chatham, Tim (Lisa) of Windsor, Barry (Shelley) of Chatham, Kenneth of Chatham and Yvonne Hasler (Ron) of Chatham. Sadly missed by 32 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Dear brother of Marie Simard of Windsor, Ralph (Monica) of Chatham and Lloyd (Madeleine) of Chatham. Also sadly missed by a sister-in-law Jackie Bechard of Chatham and a daughter-in-law Joanne Bechard of Chatham. He is predeceased by a son Gary, an infant son, a sister Annette Dillon and a brother Gerald. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 7-9 p.m. Saturday April 28, 2007 and again on Sunday April 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 10:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
