LAGACE, EMILIENNE M - The death of Emilienne M. Lagace of Saint John, wife of the late Leandre "Leo" Lagace, occurred on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born Green Point, Gloucester Co., New Brunswick on December 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Hilarion and Celina (Savoie) Roy. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lillian Elizabeth Ward, her niece and God daughter, Giselle Pitts, grandchildren, David Ward and his daughter Katie Lynn, Christine (Ward) Baskin and her children, Crystal Dawn, Bob, Douglas and Rebecca and Michael Ward and his sons, Kyle and Taylor, one great great grandson, Dillon Baskin, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Eveline Bertin and brother, Edgar Roy. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
