ROSE, Vera Marie - A resident of Ridgetown, Vera Marie Rose passed away peacefully at The Village Nursing Home, Ridgetown, with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the age of 83. Born in The Netherlands, daughter of the late Frank & Leonie DeLaet. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Rose (1986). Dear mother of Carol Pilbeam and partner Jack George of Ridgetown, and the late Edmond Rose (1963). Grandmother of Mindy & Paul, Albert & Missy, Kelly & Mat. Great-Grandma to Paige, Hunter, Jillian, Alison, and Peanut. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, July 6, 2007 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home with Fr. Martin Johnston officiating. Interment to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Donations, made by cheque, to Chatham Kent Health Alliance Palliative Care are welcomed.
