WOODWARD, Gary Lloyd - Suddenly at his home in Mt. Pleasant on Sunday July 8th, 2007, in his wife Sharon's loving arms. Gary was in his 65th year. He is survived by his mother-in-law June Wiley and sister- in-law Valerie (Byron) Locklin, his nephews Gerry, Russell, Ron and their families. Predeceased by his parents Jessie and Harold, and his brother Brian. A proud graduate of Hamilton Teachers College and McMaster University, Gary had retired as a well-respected art and music teacher from the Brant County Board of Education, was a long-time Director of the Brant Belle-A- Dears and Brant Men of Song, and former church organist and choirmaster. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends, family, former colleagues and students and will hold a special place in the hearts of Stephen and Gillian, Daphne, Kyle, Cory, and Callum. Respecting Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, (519)752-4331. Donations made in Gary's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully received.
