HICKEY, John Timothy - WW II Veteran (Longtime Teacher at Loyalist College). Peacefully, at his home, on Thursday, July 19, 2007, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Grace Frances Hickey. Loving father of Patti (David) Greer of Stirling, Timothy Hickey of Belleville, Jill (Gary) Leedale of Camlachie and Anne (Brian) Cousins of Belleville. Dear “Grumpy“ of Sarah and Brett Greer, John, Rhyan and Tara Hickey of Nanaimo, B.C., John Leedale and Katie, Michael and Nicholas Cousins. Dear brother of Michael (Joan) Hickey of Kingston and the late David Hickey. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at his home, 1794 Highway #2 West, Belleville on Monday, July 23, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael the Archangel Church on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment St. James Cemetery at a later date.
