MATTHEWS, Donald McPherson (R.C.N.V.R.-Veteran of W.W.II 19431946) - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital, on Wednesday July 18th, 2007. Donald McPherson Matthews of Palmer Rd Belleville and formerly of Brampton, in his 91st year. Son of the late John Percival Matthews and the late Winnifred Penny. Loving husband of Eunice Gertrude Eliza Matthews (nee Juby). Dear father of Rose Marie Gatien (Bernard) of Smith Falls, Loraine Post of Belleville, Cheri Booth (John) Brampton, Donald D. Matthews (Bonnie) of Belleville, Tom Matthews of Kitchener and Mary Haddock (Joe) of Brampton. Mr. Matthews is survived and sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by 1 grandchild and brothers Tom, Max, George, Frances and Donald. Friends are invited to call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 68 N. Front Street, Belleville (613- 968-5080) from Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Saturday, July 21st 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Cheryl Watson officiating. Interment in Clarke Eggleton Cemetery to follow.
