LACHINE, James Bernard - A lifelong resident of Chatham passed away Friday July 20, 2007 in his 92nd year. Son of the late William and Minnie Lachine. Husband of the late Dorothy Lachine (nee Lozon). Father of Shirley Dick and her husband Homer. Grandfather of James, Dick and Jill, Shaun Dick and Yvonne. Great grandfather of Matthew, Jamie, Shane and Sarah. Also survived by sisters Dorothy O'Rourke and Pat Luyt, brothers Stanley and Karl of Chatham and Harold of London. Predeceased by sisters Betty, Madeline and Ruth, brothers William, Reginald, Donald and Robert. Jim was an owner operator of the CPR Hotel Restaurant, The Green Door Restaurant and Lachine's Billiards on the market. The family will receive guests Sunday July 22, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Ave., (519-352-2390). A funeral service be held Monday July 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
