GREEN, ADIAN KEITH - Adain Keith Green, 83, of Ingalls Head, Grand Manan, N.B. passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Thursday morning July 12, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born at Grand Harbour he was the son of the late Hillman and Pheobe (Snowdeal) Green. Mr. Green was a Fisheries Officer and retired in 1985, he served in the Royal Canadian Army in the North Shore Regiment and took his discharge in 1945, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #44 Grand Manan, a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church where he served as Warden for several years also served on the Church Vestry for 12 years and sang in the Church Choir. He is survived by his wife Ruth M. (Carr) Green at home, two sons Nicholas of North Head, Gregory (Adda) Green of Lake George, N.B., one daughter Deborah (David) Ingalls of St. Catherines, Ont., one sister Alta Cunningham, Grand Harbour, nine grand children, five great grand children as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Green was predeceased by two brothers Harland (Hick) and Blair, two sisters Almeda Nason, and Una Tatton , and an infant baby in 1946. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with the funeral service to be held from St. Paul's Church on Saturday, July 14, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Captain Dana Dean officiating. Interment to follow in the family plot Maple Grove Cemetery, Castalia, N.B. No flowers by request.
