NEWMAN, Hazel M. (Hubbard) - The death of Hazel M. Newman occurred on June 17, 2007 at the Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey, BC, following a brief illness. Born in Cody's, NB, the daughter of the late William and May (Fisher) Hubbard of Long Reach, NB. Hazel served with the RCAF Women's Division, during WWII. Predeceased by her husband, Harold Newman; sister, Willa M. Rogers; brothers, Harry, Clayton and George Hubbard. Survived by her son, Daniel Newman (Pat) of Calgary, AB; daughter, Gayle Newman, Richmond, BC; grandchildren, Tyler, Sarah, Nathan and Megan Newman; sister, Eileen Peters, Chester, NS; sister-in-law, Helen Hubbard, Riverside, RI; several nieces and nephews. Cremation and interment took place in Surrey, BC. July 17, 2007
