CHALMERS, DOLPHENE - The death of Dolphene (Dol) Elizabeth Chalmers occurred on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, at the age of 87. Born in Maces Bay, Charlotte Co., NB, she was the daughter of Mildred (Thorpe) and Leroy Mawhinney. Dol worked for many years with her husband Bus in their watch repair business and greatly enjoyed meeting the people. She was a long time member of All Saints Anglican Church in Marysville. Predeceased by her husband, Bus (Arnold M.), she is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Hamilton (Ian) and two granddaughters, Katherine and Heather. The body is resting at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, with visiting hours Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 11 am with Canon John Cathcart officiating. Interment will be at 3 pm in the Maces Bay Cemetery following the service.
