EVANS, MADELINE, G. The passing of Madeline Evans (nee Kennedy) occurred peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, after a brief illness on July 17, 2007. Born in Millville, N.B. she was a long time resident of Nashwaaksis. Madeline was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Robert Waldo Evans. She was dedicated to her family, friends and home. She will be truly missed by her children, Donna Evans, Mavis Lamont, Sheila Evans and Tom Evans, as well as her grandchildren, Kevin, Derrick, Jamie, Todd, Kerrie, Stephanie, Robbie and Scott. She has three great grandchildren. And especially missed by close friend, Mel Smith. Madeline was predeceased by brother, Ervil Kennedy and survived by brother, Bob Kennedy of Alberta as well as several nephews. Visitation will take place Saturday, July 21, 2007 from 2-4 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, N.B. The Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 2 pm also at York Funeral Home. Reception following. Interment at Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.
