Thelma M. Magennis Thelma M. Magennis 60, of Riverview passed away suddenly at her residence on Thursday July 19, 2007. Born in Corner Brook, NF, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn (Sacrey) Spracklin. Thelma attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and was a member of the Riverview Liberal Association. She enjoyed cooking especially tea biscuits, helping others at time of need but most of all she was a loving wife and mother to her family. Thelma will be sadly missed by her husband of over 40 years, Michael (Mike) Magennis; daughters, Zina Magennis (Kevin Duff), Ottawa, ON., Sherry Magennis (Francois Cormier), Salisbury; sisters, Barbara Stonechild (Gerry), Moose Jaw, SK., Joan Carter (John), St. John's, NF., Carol Drodge (Bradley), Wanda Spracklin, both of Toronto, ON.; brothers, George Spracklin (Patricia), Glenn Spracklin (Susan), both of Corner Brook, NF.; sister in law, Judy Spracklin, Corner Brook, NF.; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother, Dean. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Sunday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Vigil prayer service and sharing of memories 8:30pm Sunday. Funeral mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Riverview Monday July 23, 2007, 11am, Father Phil Mulligan officiating. Reception following the funeral mass. Interment, Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview.
