ARCHER, Orville Raymond (Born May 6, 1928) - Passed away peacefully Saturday January 7, 2007 in his 78th year at the Best Lifestyle Residence in Coldwater, his kind home since 1990. Raymond had resided at Penetanguishene Mental Health Care from 1975 to 1990 before which he lived in the family home at Archer's Nursing Home, Bayfield Street in Barrie. Predeceased by his parents Margaret Jean (nee Kidd) and Reginald Archer. Cherished brother of Lorne Archer of Barrie, Joyce Karabelski of Florida and will be sadly missed by youngest sister Joan and her husband Charlie Young. Also remembered by his large extended family including aunts, cousins, many nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Barrie Union Cemetery on Wednesday January 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. Ives of Coldwater and the Staff, Management and residence of Best Lifestyle Home for their care and compassion towards Ray for many years and his final days.
