BRANDS, Michael - “Safe in the Arms of Jesus“ Peacefully at home with his family at his side on Saturday January 13th, 2007 in his 81st, year. Michael Brands of Sandy Cove much loved husband of Gertrude (Trudy) Brands (nee Van Luyk) for over 51 years. Loving father of Winnefred (Gary Rothon) of Newmarket, Marian (Charles Mankinen) of Fergus, Michele (Robert Hovius) of Ayr. Loving grandfather of eleven grandchildren. Predeceased by sister Anneke Van Beek and brother Johannes Brands. Visitation will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church- 4120 Salem Road, Barrie on Tuesday January 16th, from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Reception and time of visitation to follow. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.
