BURGESS, Katherine “Katie” - Peacefully, at the I.O.O.F. Nursing Home, on Monday, January 29th, 2007. Katie Burgess (nee McKever) of Barrie, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Ray Burgess of 60 years. Loving mother of John Burgess (Sandy) of Calgary, Alberta, Rick Burgess (Brenda) of Burlington, and Kathie Atkinson (Kevin) of Barrie. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Tina), Karen, Lindsay, Adam, Chad, Aaron “AJ”. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Beecroft, nurses, and the staff of the I.O.O.F. Home. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (Clapperton & Worsley Streets), Barrie on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Central United Church (54 Ross Street), Barrie on Friday, February, 2nd, 2007 at 2:00pm. Cremation with interment at Angus Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to Central United Church Memorial Fund or the I.O.O.F. Home Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.
