BLACK, Clara - After a courageous battle with cancer at her home in Barrie on Thursday, February 1st, 2007 in her 81st year. Dear sister of Roberta Spence. Loving Aunt of Dave Black (Barb) of Morrisburg, Frank Besse (Leslie) of Port Perry, Jim Besse (Ann) of Pottageville, Laura Black (Gordon Alexander) of Sarnia and Stephen Black (Devorah Noble) of Almonte. Grand Aunt of Shari, Julia, Charlotte, Adam, Michele and Todd. Great-Grand Aunt of Danika, Kira, Joshua, Sabrina, Cody, Ashley, Samantha and Danielle. Pre- deceased by her brother Rev. William E. Black and sister-in-law Shirley, and her sisters Frances Besse and Betty Campbell. Clara dedicated her life to the education of children. Her quiet thoughtful ways will be missed by all her beloved family and friends. Friends may call at the Jennett Chapel of the McCLELLAND & SLESSOR FUNERAL HOME, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Saturday, February 3rd from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Painswick United Church, 92 Dean Avenue on Sunday, February 4th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
