FOSTER, Stewart Ernest - Peacefully, on February 25, 2007, in his 89th year, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. Son of Ernest and Jean Foster; raised by Walter and Ellen Bond. Predeceased by loving wife Laura Anne (nee Wannamaker) and brother George. Survived by brother Walt and his wife Bertha of Brea, California; brother Ken and his wife Joan of Toronto; sister Marg and her husband Jack of Toronto; sister Muriel of Ajax; son Allan and his wife Josephine of Oakville; daughter Susan Ross and her husband Roger of Unionville; son Brian and his wife Nancy of Oro Station. Sadly missed by grandchildren Allan and his wife Donna; Colin and his wife Cindy; Lindsay and Michael; Jennifer and Melissa; and great grandchildren Larry, Laura, Bryan, Robyn and Nicole. Stewart was born on October 5, 1918, in Toronto and spent most of his life in Oakville. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in England during World War II; afterwards, his working career took him to Westinghouse, Canadian Admiral and Rieger Printing. His leisure time saw him cottaging with his family at Wolf Lake and later Balsam Lake. He will be sadly missed by his family, his close friends Al and Gaye Greville, Jack and Marlene Lewis as well as Jack Embrey. Boy's Weekends will never be the same. Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 2, followed by a service at 1:00 pm at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West in Oakville, Ontario. 10558330
