JOHNSTON, George Norman - Aged 86, decorated veteran of WWII, retired foreman plumber of Lakeshore Psychiatric Hosp., after a lengthy fight, found peace on Feb. 22nd at Royal Victoria Hosp. (Barrie). He is survived by his loving wife Christina (nee Kidd), his devoted son, Bruce (Beverly), his adored grandchildren William, Victoria, Caroline, and Sarah, and his special grandchildren Lindsay and Kyle. He is also survived by his sister Jean Smith, and was predeceased by siblings David and Elizabeth. Memorial Service Saturday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Simcoe Terrace, Barrie.
