AYRES, Mervyn George - It is with great sadness that the family of Mervyn Ayres announce his passing on Thursday March 1, 2007. Beloved husband of 55 years to Kay. Dear father of Cindy (Ken), Pamela (Bruce), Bob (Yvette), Terry (Laurette), Teresa (Dave), Paul and Jennifer (Mark). Loving grandfather to Tara, Lori, Braden, Andrew, Stephanie, Meagan, Brennan, Lindsay, Blake and Trent. Mervyn is also survived by many brothers, sisters and family. Friends may call at the STECKLEY- GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (201 Minet's Road), Barrie on Sunday March 4 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A celebration of Mervyn's life will be held on Monday March 5 in the chapel at 3:00pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home.
