BARNET, John Francis Desmond - (WWII Veteran, Korean War medic, 28 year Serviceman in the Canadian Armed Forces, 17 year Ontario Ambulance Service Branch Regional Trainer “Barney Barnet” and a Serving Brother with the St. John Ambulance) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1st, 2007 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie in his 88th year. Husband of 54 years of the late Pearl (Gray) Barnet. John (Des) will be missed by sons Ronald, Gregory, Graham (Ramona) and daughter Leslie Ann (Glenn). Boppy to grandchildren Melanie, Tyler, Monique, Nicholas and Taryn. Great-grandfather to Kaitlyn. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Finch (late Don) and uncle to Nancy. Sincere thanks go to the Grove Park Home for their loving care during these past four years. Private celebration of life.
