VALAD, Kenneth Francis - Passed away suddenly at home on Thursday March 29th, 2007. Age 74. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Hickling). Loving father of Christine Bowman (Doug) and Hillsdale and Kim Money (Scott) of Minesing. Dear grandfather of Meaghan and Brett Bowman and Morgan, Cortney and Joey Money. Dear brother of Mervin Valad of Chepstow. Predeceased by Leona Hickey, Gladys Doerr, Jean Zettler, Bernice Parker, Marjorie Leddy, Irene Hauck and Jack Valad. Ken will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and in-laws Dorothy and Joe Schonewille, Mary and Don Sawden, Carol and Laurie Gilchrist, Charlene and Steve Hagerman and Bill and Kathy Noble. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (Clapperton and Worsley St.), Barrie on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Service from Collier St. United Church on Monday April 2 at 11:00 am. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Collier St. United Church would be appreciated by the family.
