SIMPSON, Myrna JOY - Passed away peacefully with Aunt Joan at her side at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Monday, June 25th, 2007. Joy (Sanderson) of Oro in her 54th year was the beloved wife of Brian Simpson of Oro. Cherished mother of Krista, Kerry, Todd and Trevor. Joy was the daughter of Keith & Myrna Sanderson of Orillia and dear sister of Gary Sanderson. Daughter-in-law of Charles & Lena Simpson of Shanty Bay. Sister-in-law of Myrna & David Jones, Wayne & Elaine Simpson, Brenda & Elgin Hyatt, Alberta & Chris Goody and Glenn & Janet Simpson. Special aunt to 18 nieces & nephews and 10 great nieces & nephews. A one of a kind friend to all. A very special thanks to the nurses and staff of the R.V.H. Emergency & 3 North B and the staff of Bayshore as well as Dr. Irvin, Dr. Pressnail and Dr. Tebbutt. Also a special thanks to the gentlemen at the Oro Medonte Fire Department, Station One. Friends may call at the Jennett Chapel of the McCLELLAND & SLESSOR FUNERAL HOME, 152 Bradford St. in Barrie on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church, (Grove St. E. at Penetanguishene Rd.) on Friday, June 29th at 1:30 p.m. Interment Guthrie Cemetery.
