William JELLEY

JELLEY, William "Bill" October 22nd, 1920 - June 29th, 2007 Peacefully on Friday, June 29, 2007, predeceased by his loving wife Mary (nee Leaver) and survived by his son Peter (Barb McDuff). The oldest brother of a family of 10 children, Beatrice, Margaret, Marina, Charles, Doreen and Gerald. Also predeceased by brother Jimmy, sisters Rita and Louise and parents Emily and William. A proud veteran of WWII, he came back and married Mary in 1952. After his military service, he made a career with Brewers Warehouse Co. Ltd. for 34 years, retiring in 1983. Bill enjoyed sports, excelled in baseball in his youth and loved his golf until the age of 80 at Club de Golf Outaouais and was an avid 67's season ticket holder. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Wednesday, July 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 5th at 11:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
