OBITUARY EILEEN (MURPHY) COLLYER Passed gracefully away July 1, 2007. Born in Vancouver Eileen came to Montreal soon after the war to pursue a career writing about fashion. She joined Bruck Mills as a fashion coordinator and editor of their company magazine in 1946. She later moved to the Hudsons Bay Company where she met her future husband Jim Collyer who predeceased her in 2005. Eileen was well known as the editor of Elan Image de la Mode, which she founded with Jim to serve the fashion trade. She lived in her Ste. Anne des Lacs cottage with her beloved cats Sheba and Mr. Grey until very recently. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and is mourned by her children, Christopher, Deborah and Pamela, as well as her cherished grandchildren Jethro Bushenbaum, Skye and Alexandre Collyer, Lance and Danteadden. Please join us in the village of Ste. Anne des Lacso celebrate her life, Saturday at 1 p.m., July 7, 2007 at her home. In lieu of flowers please give generously to Hopital Ste. Agathe-des-Monts.
