OBITUARY BURTON FITCH July 1, 2007 in his ninety-third year. Survived by his sister Phyllis Labow and sister-in-law Isabel Fitch, his loving children Michael (Roza Wilczynska), Ed (Sharon), Linda (Jay) Silverberg, Jack (Danielle Brunette), grandchildren Ruth Ann Fitch (Sebastien Leuzy), Lt Daniel Fitch (Wendy Beach), Rena (Dan) Kaplansky, Leora Fitch, Lauren Silverberg, Dr Noah (Gail) Silverberg, Jonathan Silverberg, Kimberly Brunette-Fitch, and great-grandchildren Jessica, Jeffery, Justin. Born in Quebec City, he lived most of his years in Montreal; since 1984 in Nanaimo, B.C. Boy Scout, WWII Infantry Rifle Platoon Commander (North Nova Scotia Highlanders), successful business man, avid fisherman and skilled outdoorsman, exemplary community leader and tireless volunteer. Bereft since the death of his life's love Beulah in 2005 after sixty-five years of marriage; now they are together again. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 7/7/2007
