McGrath, Richard J., B.A. MEdJCL Resident Judge of the Canadian Appeal Tribunal Retired Principal, Carleton Catholic School Board. Retired Professor, University of Ottawa Born Kilkenny, Ireland, died peacefully Sunday July 8, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Richard McGrath, beloved husband of Dr. Margaret McGrath (nee Burke). Loving father of Anne (Bruce Potter), John (Jill), Grainne (Matthew Webber) and Richard F. Devoted grandfather of Brendan, Aidan, Talia, Liam, Richard-Dean, Ciara, Declan, Niamh and Annabelle. Dear brother of Phyllis Ryan. Predeceased by his parents Ellen and John McGrath, his sisters Eileen Maher and Josie McKenna. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Dr., Orleans, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery Orleans.
