YANTHA, Murray Gerald February 9, 1940 - July 7, 2007 30 years Clerk-Treasurer, Township Of McNab and Township of McNab/Braeside Murray passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on July 7, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Husband and best friend of Grace (Young). Loving father of Laurie Gauvreau (Jerry deBoer) and Robert Yantha. Extra special Grandpa of Jacqueline Gauvreau and Jeremy deBoer. Dear son of the late Paul Yantha and Amelia (Smaglinski) Yantha. Survived by brother Barry (Eve) and brother-in-law of George Young (Ella), and son-in-law of Florida Young. Murray was active in his community and was the Township representative on the Arnprior Library Board, South Renfrew Municipal Airport Commission and a member of the V.O.N. for 25 years. After retirement in January 2000 he became a committee member of the Renfrew Fair Board and was currently the treasurer of the Renfrew Food Grains Project. He was very active in Glasgow United Church. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home & Chapel, 22 Raglan St. S. Renfrew on Monday July 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted from Glasgow United Church on Tuesday July 10th at 2:30 p.m. Interment Goshen Cemetery.
