BARBER, Vera A. Nee Thompson Roy Barber Services Limited Peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2007 with her family at her side, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Barber. Much loved mother of Vicki Schieman (Buzz), Cal (Linda) and the late Frank. Cherished "Nanny" of Paul (Sue) and Mark (Josee) Schieman, Brian and Scott Barber and "Great G.G." of Kaitlyn, Cameron, Aidan and Emilie Schieman. Also survived by her little brother Mervyn Thompson (Pat Happy). Predeceased by 2 brothers Cecil and Ellwood Thompson. Vera will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and many friends. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment Merrickville Union Cemetery. Thanks to the nurses and staff at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre for their special care. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre.
