HARE, (nee Leknickas) Julie. Suddenly, yet peacefully at home in Brockville, Ontario, on July 8, 2007. Just into her 86th year, Julie leaves to mourn her husband John of 60 years along with her children Brian (Marlene) and Jim (Rachel). She also leaves behind her grandchildren Tracey, Troy, Todd, Kristen and Benjamin, as well as six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Leknickas and now joins them in an eternal resting place. Julie's love for her family and friends was second to none, and her great sense of caring and generosity will live on in our hearts forever. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street, Brockville, Ont. (613-342-2828) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. prior to a service which will take place in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment will occur at a later date at Cote des Neiges Cemetery in Montreal. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society ( www.cancer.ca ).
