ROCHON, Kim Leslie (nee Pettigrew) Peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the age of 48. She lived life to its fullest despite her 10-year journey with breast cancer and all that that entails. Beloved wife of Francois. Survived by her mother Marjorie Pettigrew (the late Harold "Luke"). Dear sister of Karen Acton (George), Pam Baker (Larry) and Megan Austin (Glenn). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kim (the lion-hearted) was inspirational to her family and friends for her courage, her sense of humour and her compelling ability to live life no matter the circumstances. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.), Nepean on Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.. Memorial service will be held at Britannia United Church, 985 Pinecrest Rd., on Saturday at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Friends of Hospice, Elisabeth Bruyere Foundation or the Palliative Care Outreach Program would be appreciated.
