SHIELDS, Evelyn Patricia (Dickhout) - Passed away peacefully at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville, on Friday, May 25, 2007, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Shields. Dear sister of Donald Dickhout, Stanley and Phyllis Dickhout, Harvey Dickhout, Beatrice Burtch, and Ruth Dickhout. Predeceased by two brothers Irvin, Lloyd and his wife Elsie and brother-in-law Colin Burtch. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a R.N. at Greater Niagara General Hospital for over 30 years. The family would like to thank Grandview Lodge nurses and staff for the kindness she received while in their care. Family and friends were received at the Ballard-Minor Funeral Home, 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville, where the service was held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
