DUBE, GILLES “Gilligan/Teko“ - 1943- 2007 - The family announces with great sorrow the death of Gilles Dubé at the age of 64 years, after a short illness on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Timmins and District Hospital. He leaves behind his sister Normande and his pet “Rocky“, his nephew Jean and his siblings. Predeceased by his parents Jean-Baptiste & Bernadette in 1982 and his older brother “Duke“ in 1999. Gilles retired in 2003 from Dome Mines. He was an avid outdoors man who loved fishing & hunting and loved to help people who needed a helping hand. Upon his request there will be no viewing however there will be a memorial mass to celebrate his life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2nd, 2007 from Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2nd, 2007 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church.
