RAIDT, Jan Jacobus - Peacefully and with great dignity with family and friends by his side during his battle with cancer at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Rogers St., on Wednesday May 30, 2007. John Raidt of Peterborough in his76th year. Beloved husband of Fran (Hampton). Dear father of Jack of Calgary, Jo-Ann (Darryl Greenwood) of Clinton, Diana (Brian West) of Peterborough. Opa to Jaimie (Mike), Michelle, Steven, Brandy (Kevin), Hailey, Shannon and Overgrootvader to Kalin. Also survived by sister Bastiana of New Jersey, Ria and Jo both of the Netherlands. Predeceased by his wife Rina (Rademaker), his parents Johanne and Johanna Raidt, his brothers and sisters Jacoba, Elsje, Jacobus, Janna and Gerrit. Friends will be received at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 748 Cumberland Ave., Peterborough on Saturday June 2, 2007 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Bishop Ken Beasley officiating.
