WOODS, Heather Margaret (nee Marsden) - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving daughters and devoted husband of 33 years, at the Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie, on Sunday June 10, 2007. Heather Woods, cherished wife of Bob and proud mother of Jennifer (Daryl) and Leigh-Anne. Adoring grandmother of Ethan, Gavin, Noah and Hogan. Sister of Michael (Judy), Paula (Scott), John, Erica (Blaine) and William. She was predeceased by her parents Margaret and Eric Marsden and brother Pat. She will be sadly missed by her many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and her many friends as well as all the people she touched with the Barrie out of the cold program. She was the #1 devote Argo fan in the world and her boys in double blue will have a little help from above this season. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (201 Minet's Point Road at Yonge Street) Barrie on Thursday June 14, 2007 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM. Prayers will be offered at 8:45 PM. Funeral mass will be held on Friday June 15, 2007 at 10 AM from St Mary's Church, 65 Amelia Street Barrie. A private family interment will follow. The family thanks Dr. El-Maraghi and Mary of the RVH Oncology department and also Dr. DuVall and Dr. Irvin and the staff of 3 North B palliative care and especially Connie, Jenn and Eileen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre through Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home.
