WONG, Irene (nee Cheng) - Irene Wong (nee Cheng) passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday June 8, 2007 in her 83rd year. Irene Wong of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Earl Wong (deceased 1983). Daughter of the late Cheng Sin Sung and the late Au Jong Noan. Loving mother of Sally ( the late Glen Lum), Toronto, Mary, Pembroke, Peter (Ling), Australia, Garland (Jennifer), Pembroke, Lily (Guy), Ottawa, Elan (Terry), Ottawa, Edward (Helena), Toronto, Stephanie (Tony), Toronto and Serena (Norm), Toronto. Lovingly remembered as Poa Poa and Joh Poa by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Cheng Yu of Hong Kong. Visitation on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wing ON Chapel, 665 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M5S 2H9. A Memorial Service will held in the Funeral Chapel on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
