AVOINE, Leo – 1935-2007 – The family announces with great sorrow his sudden death at the Timmins and District Hospital on June 11, 2007 at the age of 72. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Simone. Loving father of Roger Avoine (Catherine) of Timmins and Thérèse Ross (Gordon) of Kitchener. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Eric and Michel of Timmins and Gordon Jr. and Andrew of Kitchener. Survived by his brother Henry Avoine (Marion) of Timmins and by his sister Simone Anderson (late Lawrence) of Vancouver and by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
