FOUNTAIN, Vera May - After a long life, it is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mom, grandma, G.G., sister and auntie on June 7, 2007 at the age of 85. Dearly missed by her children Jacqueline (predeceased), Ray (Kathy), Judy (Rick) Martin and Fred (Linda). Cherished grandma to Brett, Shannon (Andrea), Jackie (Paul), Chris (Connie), Lora (Josh) and Kaelyn. G.G. to Amber, Jessica, Tyler, Alissa, Mariah, Maisie, Leia, Beckham and Lexi. Fondly remembered by all those who called her grandma and G.G. Dear sister to Vi (predeceased) and her husband Frank, Jack (Simone), Helen (Rob) and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all her friends at 30 Sanford Ave. South, the members of Colonel Chisholm Chapter of the I.O.D.E., Salvation Army Golden Agers and James Street Senior's Club. Family will receive friends for visiting at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East, Hamilton (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) 905-549-2417 on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A celebration of Vera's life will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later time.
