SCAPPATICCI, Maria (Rea) ~ at Extendicare Nursing Home, St. Catharines on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Folco Scappaticci (February 10, 2007). Loving mother of Larry (Donna) Scappaticci. Nonna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Anthony (Sandra), Mark (Debbie) and Mary Louise (Jeff) Olajos and by her great grandchildren Kendra, Connor, Sephira, Isaac, Harrison and Akayla. Predeceased by granddaughter Kirsten (2001). Dear sister of Domenico Rea and Flavia Rea. Predeceased by brother Natale. Maria will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A private family visitation will be held at the LAMB-BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen St. S., Thorold on Friday at 10 a.m. The Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Maria to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Catharines General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
