SCHOEN, Klaas - Passed peacefully at his home on June 8, 2007 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Corrie Schoen for almost 54 years. Loving father of Neal Schoen (Pam) of Gravenhurst and Diana Chambers (Don) of Port Colborne. Dearly missed by his grandchildren Lindsay (Duncan), Chris (Nicole), Dallin, Kaylee and by his great-grandchildren Phoenix and Pamela. Survived by his sisters Elizabeth and Hendrika and his brother Simon. Predeceased by his grandson Jonathan Schoen (June 8, 2004) and his parents Cornelis and Elizabeth. The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 in the Armstrong Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Arthritis Society.
