MANLEY, ALFRILDA FRILLY - Went to be with the Lord, at the Welland Hospital, on Monday, June 11, 2007, in her 78th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Robert Manley for 53 years. Lovingly remembered by daughter Joy (Ed) Walmsley and son Calvin (Sylvie) Manley and grandsons David & Jonathan Walmsley. Loved sister of Josephine (Sandy) Simpson of Oregon and Lucy Graham of Stevensville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Frilly was predeceased by her parents Hilda & Arthur Beaumont, her sister & brother-in-law Hilda & Lloyd Barnes, sister Anne Longmore and brother-in-law Stuart Graham. Frilly was a faithful, active member of Faith Tabernacle Church for many years. She volunteered at Sunset Haven for 25 years and at the Welland Hospital and Extendicare for 24 years since 1982.Frilly was known throughout the Niagara Peninsula for her trays of fancy sandwiches and the sandwich making classes she held. A private interment has taken place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens with the services of the H. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland. Friends will be received by the family at a Memorial Service on Thursday, June 14th at 2:00 p.m., with visitations one half hour prior to service time at Faith Tabernacle Church, the corner of Fitch Street and South Pelham Road, Welland.
