MARSH, John Edwin “Jack“ - Peacefully after a lengthy battle at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday June 16th, 2007 in his 72nd year. Long time companion of the late Yvonne Robertson; loving father of Sheila of Brantford, Andrew, Peter and Kerry, all of Pittsburgh PA; loving step father of Lynn Schmidt; proud grandfather and great grandfather of several grandchildren; beloved brother of Rena Harris of Nova Scotia and Carolyn Fountain of Hamilton; Jack was predeceased by his son Stanley, his sisters Norma Hines and Joyce Dumsinel and his brother James. Jack retired from Hussmans Ltd. after working for 28 years. He was an active and dedicated volunteer for the Stedman Community Hospice. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL“, 96 West Street for a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday June 20th, 2007 from 10 to 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will then be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Jack, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
