EDMUNDS, Robert E. - Lost his fight with cancer at the Hotel Dieu-Shaver on Friday June 15, 2007 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 51 years to Jenny (Irmgard) and loving father to Martin and Robert Jr. (Dawn). Adoring grandpa to Kurtis and Kimberly. He is also survived by sisters Nessie, Ada and Betty. Born in Edinborough Scotland in 1924, Robert worked as an electrician and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 303. Proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 350 in Port Dalhousie. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday June 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. Internment St. John's Cemetery Port Dalhousie. Members of Royal Canadian Legion Br. 350 will hold a service at the funeral home Monday evening at 7:30. If desired memorial donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
